The successor of the popular and sim racing communities favourite T150. The all new T248 designed for the Playstation 5, Playstation 4 and PC running windows 10 and above promises a strong upgrade as well as an LCD dash readout which offers an extra level of usability, immersion and realism.

If you’re into sim racing, A good racing wheel system is the foundation of a great sim racing set-up, the heart of It all. Force feedback and pushy pedal system is what adds into the immersion. This new wheel not only offers that, but also a suite of premium controls, a powerful hybrid belt motor, and three force feedback presets to choose from. This wheel targets beginner and amateur sim racers which surprisingly represents 80% of the sim racers out there, so don’t expect any industry leading technologies or revolutionary functions since its intended for “beginners” and for those on a ‘budget”, according to Thrustmaster.

The T248 is supposed to be an “affordable” racing wheel retailing for 400$, but honestly, that doesn’t sound cheap to us. The 400$ price tag is still in line with similar offerings from Logitech, like the G920.
